If I’ve learned one thing these past few years, it would be that struggles really do make you stronger. Yeah, it is hard when you’re going through it. It’s almost as if that’s the only thing you see, think and feel…
You tend to focus on the problem and forget to find a way to even resolve the matter at all.
You also forget the other blessings that God has given you, which I’m sure, outnumbers every single disappointment, grief or any trouble in your life combined.
So how does that make you stronger?
In many ways, trials build you up, like muscles after strenuous exercise.
How will you learn if there are no challenges in your life?
How do you expect a tree to grow if there is no rain?
We all face different sorts of struggles on different scales, but after every experience, we always come out a little stronger than before.
It also depends on the choices we make. If we let failures tear us down on the spot, that will be the end of that. Nothing will happen. But if we have a goal and purpose in life, we’ll make sure that we get up everytime we fall so that we can achieve what we’re living for.
So i thank God for the struggles that I’ve been and that I am going to go through, because I now have in my heart a dream that I want to accomplish. And nothing is worth accomplishing if it is not accompanied with hard work and passion.
Of course I still have a long way to go, but I’m taking things one sweet step at a time.
